Tyson Fury has confirmed his very foreseen rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will happen on 22 February 2020.
“The rematch has been affirmed and marked [for] 22 February. It’s on, the rematch,” the British heavyweight champion told the group of spectators at a Q&A occasion at the Alhambra Theater in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
He included: ” This time I am going to thump him out. This time I haven’t been out the ring for a long time, this time I haven’t been mishandling an excessive amount of liquor.”
The primary session among Fury and Wilder in December 2018 was questionably scored as a draw, regardless of onlookers’ later saying they accept the British contender merited the success.
The 30-year-old has promised not to release his rematch with Wilder to the judges and is meaning to win Wilder’s belt by and large.
