An aide to previous Lagos State representative, Ekene Okoro on Wednesday night fell casualty of some traffic looters on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway.
Okoro, who filled in as a press official in the workplace of previous Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s Chief Press Secretary, said he was victimized around Cele Bus Stop on his way to his Ago Palace home at about 9:35pm.
The gangsters removed his wristwatch, handsets, and money.
Okoro, who depicted the experience as “damaging” said the gangsters slid on different drivers in the wake of completing with him.
“Finished with me, they requested me to move. Now, I felt they needed to utilize me as a draw to strike different vehicles behind.
“When I saw that they were occupied with their next injured individual, I zoomed off. The main idea was to flee from the scene, qualm was to make a beeline for my vehicle and zoom off.
“I tuned in to the doubt. I sneaked back to my vehicle, drawing closer from the front and would have liked to hop in and zoom off. Too bad! they had accepted my key as inadvertent blow-back,” Okoro said.
Talking with The Nation in the wake of recovering his line at MTN office, Okoro said the individual on the work area disclosed to him that he was the fourth individual that came to recover his line yesterday.
“Guess what? We all were looted around that place. I trust our security organizations will concentrate on that region,” Okoro included.
