GARETH BALE has been captured laughing at the direction of Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane during an humbling 7-3 defeat to the hand of their harsh rival Atletico Madrid last night at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.
Zidane oversaw his side crash to a shocking 7-3 defeat to Atletico Madrid and were 6-0 down at one stage.
Diego Costa netted four times before getting sent off following a brawl involving Dani Carvajal, which also saw the defender receive a red card.
New boy Joao Felix also got on the scoresheet, as did Vitolo and Angel Correa while Nacho, Karim Benzema and Javier Hernandez Carrera reduced the goal margin for Los Blancos.
For Zidane, it is a huge embarrassment as he looks to return Real to European glory.
However, Bale saw the funny side of things amid his ongoing spat with the legendary Frenchman.
With just 20 minutes left to go and the scoreline at 7-1, the Welshman was spotted laughing at the direction of Zidane on the pitch.
The duo’s problems have been well-documented this summer after Zidane explicitly told reporters that he wanted Gareth Bale out of the club.
Zidane was fuming after the match, saying: “What happened is that we entered the game very badly.
“A high-level competition, we entered very badly.
“At eight minutes we were down 2-0. There was no response from us to change something.
“The first part was difficult. We never entered the game. We have lacked everything. Especially intensity.”
Recent reports emerged this morning stating that Bale was in talks to move to China.
Jiangsu Suning have reportedly offered the former Tottenham star a ludicrous £1m-a-week to sign him.
The Chinese club also have former Atletico defender Miranda on their books, as well as one-time Liverpool Alex Teixeira.
Bale has won a multitude of trophies at Real Madrid, including four Champions League titles.
